Frequently Asked Questions

Training Organisation and Practical Arrangements
How can I register for an upcoming training programme?
For in-company training programmes, please contact me directly or contact your training manager or line manager to agree on the pedagogical and practical arrangements.

Are you quality-certified under QUALIOPI?
Yes. The training organisation A+ BIANCHI CONSULTING is QUALIOPI certified, a quality certification awarded for the category “Training Actions” since 2022 and renewed in April 2025.

What are the prerequisites for attending a training programme?
The prerequisite is to be in a professional situation, either current or very likely in the near future, that places you in a management or negotiation context, depending on the training programme you wish to attend.
Indeed, our work primarily focuses on preparing and supporting the achievement of your professional objectives.
We review each situation individually. However, given the universal nature of management requirements—whether as a leader or as an effective member of a team—it is clear that we are all qualified to meet this prerequisite.
As for negotiation, who has a job and is not confronted with it…?

Do you offer inter-company training programmes?
In fact, not really, and this is for three reasons.
First, for reasons of confidentiality: management and negotiation topics are difficult to address between participants from different companies.
Second, for pedagogical reasons: training scenarios are specific and therefore defined according to roles, sectors and professional situations.
Finally, I deliver training in MBA formats for leading business schools, where a strong climate of trust exists between participants and where expectations for customisation are lower in training exercises.
My successful experience in MBA programmes therefore also confirms the limitations that would arise in a traditional inter-company format.

Where do your training programmes take place?
We deliver training programmes for clients who always determine the location of the training.
Training may take place on your premises, offering the advantage of a familiar and comfortable environment, while allowing you to remain connected to your day-to-day professional context.
Alternatively, training may take place outside your usual workplace, in venues specifically designed for professional training, such as training centres, business venues or hotel conference facilities. In this case, the advantage is the opportunity to fully disconnect from daily work routines and immerse yourself completely in the training seminar.
In all cases, we ensure that the quality of the venues supports optimal learning conditions.
Do you offer follow-up sessions?
We offer the option of following the training programme with an individual interview for each participant, in order to support their personal development plan.
This interview is typically scheduled between one and three months after the training programme.
What are your fees?
For companies and in-company training formats, fees are determined based on the level of preparation required, the number of participants and the number of sessions.
Let’s meet and discuss.
How can I negotiate the fees of a negotiation trainer?
We are all negotiators, and circumstances can influence our choices.
More favourable fees can be obtained by planning your training sessions several months in advance.
Please contact me.
Do you take disability situations into account?
Yes, absolutely.
This consideration is carried out in collaboration with the client company’s HR and training department.
When a training request involves a participant who has declared a disability, we identify the training needs and the participant’s expectations, and we assess the appropriate measures to be implemented in order to accommodate the disability.

Pedagogical Approach and Practical Simulations
What types of simulations do you offer?
The training organisation has a library of numerous simulations developed based on the professional and pedagogical experience of Philippe Bianchi and his clients.
These management and negotiation workshops have been refined through dozens of practical applications since the creation of the training organisation.
They are highly appreciated and most often very engaging, in order to support effective learning.
Do you offer specific, tailor-made simulations adapted to my professional, managerial or commercial context, for example?
Yes, absolutely.
To do so, I meet with several members of your team and listen carefully to the managerial or business situations they encounter, in order to design tailor-made training simulations specifically adapted to your context.

What am I filmed doing?
You are filmed during a simulation exercise, in a management or negotiation context, while interacting with one or more other participants.
You have nothing specific to do in relation to the cameras.
You and your counterparts are filmed by two cameras positioned at a three-quarter angle, using shot and reverse-shot, as in an interview or a report.
How long does a recorded video sequence last?
Simulation workshops usually last between 10 and 30 minutes maximum.
Video sequences last only 3 to 5 minutes, as we record selected excerpts from different simulations, involving different participants, in order to allow several people to be debriefed.
What is the benefit of having my video viewed by the other participants?
First, for you, as other participants can provide you with informed feedback, either during the session or in one-to-one discussions.
Second, for them, because by observing your video they can identify inspiring strengths they may wish to reproduce, as well as shortcomings that are also their own and that they will take care to avoid in turn.
What do participants say about the use of video?
Participants are delighted with the quality of the debriefings and quickly forget any initial apprehension they may have had.

Do you offer follow-up sessions?
We offer the option of following the training programme with an individual interview for each participant, in order to support their personal development plan.
This interview is usually scheduled between one and three months after the training programme.

Use of Video, Confidentiality and Ethical Framework
Why do you use video in training programmes?
Video allows you to see yourself, hear yourself, and observe yourself in communication, in action and in listening situations.
You discover what others see of you and gain a clearer understanding of your impact on your interlocutors.
Can you imagine a dancer being forbidden to practise in front of a mirror?
Can you imagine a singer being forbidden to listen to their own recordings?
Is it possible to run negotiation or management training programmes without filming participants?
Most negotiation or management training programmes do not use this tool.
As a result, participants depend on an observer or a trainer to see and hear themselves.
Do you think this is effective?
Imagine someone describing your communication to you without allowing you to see it.
Imagine being forbidden to look at yourself in a mirror to understand your facial expressions and movements, or even to choose your clothes.
If you do not wish to be filmed at the beginning, no one will force you. And very likely, as is the case for 100% of participants, you will ask to be filmed when you feel ready.
Who is filmed during the training sessions?
All participants are filmed at their request, once or several times during the day.
All videos are viewed during the debriefing of the simulation workshop and are then deleted.
Who will see the videos in which I appear?
During the debriefing of the simulation workshop, the video is viewed with the facilitator and the participants in your session, typically 6 to 8 people.
As all participants have taken part in the same simulation, they fully understand the context.
After the debriefing, the video is deleted.
Can I keep a copy of my video?
Videos are ephemeral pedagogical material that only make sense during the debriefing with the facilitator and your group of participants.
They are never provided to participants.
This rule is agreed upon before any filmed simulation exercise.
All videos are deleted after the simulation and its debriefing, much like a chalkboard or a reusable writing slate.
What happens to the video files after the session?
Video files are deleted immediately after the debriefing.
What proves that the videos are deleted?
The trainer deletes the videos in front of the participants and empties the recycle bin.
What if I do not want my video to be shown to the group?
You may choose not to be filmed, in which case you will not be filmed.
You may also request that a video in which you appear is not shown during the debriefing; in this case, the video will be deleted without ever being viewed, either by the facilitator or by the group.

In management and negotiation, others are watching you.
You seek to communicate, engage, inspire or persuade.

In both management and negotiation, everything starts with you:
your image, your verbal and non-verbal communication.

Video allows you to see yourself as others see you.
Through expert-led debriefing, you work on your existing and potential strengths, enabling immediate progress during the training sessions themselves.
